The product supports Telnet, TN3270, TN3270E, TN5250, TN5250E connectivity.

Aviva Xpress offers 3270 emulation and 5250 emulation for both display and printer, and VT220 emulation for display. SSL security and SOCKS proxy server support enable secure and reliable access to host applications.

Multi-platform – One solution for all the enterprise desktops: Windows, MAC, Linux and UNIX.

Security – TN3270, TN5250 and VT sessions support SSL communications providing 56 bit encryption and strong encryption. Socks Version 4 Proxy Server support allows those sessions to safely traverse corporate firewalls.

Customization – Users can replace the default color maps, keyboard maps and fonts by their own preferences or choose between the 3D and classical view.

User profiles – Multiple local or remote users (using X-Windows or Windows Terminal Server client) can use Aviva Xpress simultaneously and benefit from private profiles that store their own communications parameters and preferences.

Automation – Macro recorder, player allows automation of routine tasks for easy host screens navigation. Macros can be assigned to key combinations or be automatically executed on session startup.

Diagnostics – Extensive tracing and logging provide the in-depth analysis needed to streamline problem solving.

International Support – International code page support for 48 languages, along with a user interface supporting English, French, German, Italian and Spanish, allow large multi-national corporations to standardize on one emulation product for worldwide host connectivity.

Mainframe file transfer – Full IND$FILE transfer protocol support.

Printer Associate - Aviva Xpress supports the TN3270 printer associate feature. The printer session is activated automatically when the display session is activated.
