Yosemite Backup Media Server is a modular component that licenses an additional backup server, with distributed device support, to an existing Yosemite Backup Storage Management Domain. Connecting multiple Yosemite Backup Media Servers to a Yosemite Backup Master Server can be used to create a centrally managed, distributed backup environment. If you have an IP and/or FC SAN environment, you may want to consider a Yosemite Backup SAN Media Server, which allows tape libraries and devices to be dynamically shared.
