Instead of simply dialing numbers and recording voicemails, capabilities have exploded so that the average mobile phone can now be used to send and receive emails, open and view attachments, take photos, and access the Internet.

How it Works

Easily install our Computrace® Agent onto the handheld devices within your organisation. The Computrace Agent allows your devices to maintain a connection with our Monitoring Centre. Once the Agent is activated – your handheld devices (and everything on them) will be protected.

Manage

Monitor and manage all your handheld devices within the Absolute Customer Centre (regardless if a devices is on or off your LAN).

Protect

In the event of loss or theft, remotely delete all sensitive information and generate reports to prove your compliance with government and corporate regulations.

IT Asset Management

With Computrace Mobile, you can immediately identify any handheld devices that have gone missing, enforce software policies, and maintain a fleet of optimally running devices. To help you do this, we collect data from your handheld devices and provide you with access to a series of reports with information that includes:

• Hardware type 
• Configuration 
• Installed software 
• User information

Remotely Delete Sensitive Data

Delete data on missing handheld devices and produce an audit log of the deleted files to prove your compliance with government and corporate regulations. Set alerts so you will be notified if non-compliance activities occur.

Track

If a handheld device goes missing, the next time it calls in, you can track it within the Absolute Customer Centre using GPS technology. You will be able to see current and historical locations on a map to within about 10 metres.
