PhotoScore Ultimate 6 is the fastest way to scan music for transpositions, arrangements & editions.
It's the fully-featured version of the PhotoScore Lite scanning software for Sibelius. Plus it can scan music into other MIDI software such as sequencers. You can even use it on its own to scan in, play back, transpose and print scores, and even save audio files.
PhotoScore Ultimate reads printed and handwritten music or PDFs in seconds – not just the notes, but also printed slurs, dynamics, lyrics, guitar tab, chord diagrams and more. You can then edit or transpose the music, play it back, extract the parts and print – just as if you'd input it yourself.
New in PhotoScore Ultimate 6:
- Improved handwriting recognition
- "Bad timing navigator" makes it very fast to find and correct rhythmic errors
- Find and Replace dialog makes it easy to fix lots of identical errors (e.g. in text) in a single operation
Windows
An IBM compatible Pentium or higher PC with Windows 98SE/Me/2000/XP/Vista. At least 192MB RAM - 256MB is recommended or 512MB if using Windows 2000/XP/Vista. If your computer has less than 192MB RAM, contact your supplier for a memory upgrade.
Your computer should also have a reasonable amount of free hard disk space - at least 40MB and preferably rather more.
Adobe Reader 6.0 or later should be installed to view PhotoScore’s PDF help.
Sibelius/G7 users note: Although PhotoScore will work with Sibelius/G7 version 3 and higher, It is recommended that you use Sibelius/G7 5.0 or higher as it has greatly improved PhotoScore importing capabilities.
A scanner (probably connected to your computer via a USB, Printer or SCSI port), and installed TWAIN or WIA driver software.
If you want to open PDF files, you should also download and install Ghostscript (11.7MB)
Mac
An Apple Macintosh Intel/G4/G5 with Mac OS X 10.3 or higher. It should have at least 256MB RAM and 512MB is recommended. If your computer has less than 256MB RAM, contact your supplier for a memory upgrade.
Your computer should also have a reasonable amount of free hard disk space - at least 40MB and preferably rather more.
Apple Preview or Adobe Reader 6.0 or later should be installed to view PhotoScore’s PDF help.
Sibelius/G7 users note: Although PhotoScore will work with Sibelius/G7 version 3 and higher, It is recommended that you use Sibelius/G7 5.0 or higher as it has greatly improved PhotoScore importing capabilities.
A scanner (probably connected to your computer via a USB, Printer or SCSI port), and installed Mac OS X TWAIN driver software (it is highly recommended you visit your scanner manufacturer’s website and download the latest version – also note that classic Mac OS TWAIN drivers will not work). You may need to contact your scanner manufacturer for information on installing a suitable TWAIN driver. If a Mac OS X TWAIN driver is not available for your scanner, you will need to scan using separate software, save suitable TIFF files, and open these in PhotoScore.
