In version 2010, brand new ZIP engine features multicore optimizations that lead up to 4x speed improvement compared to competitors and enable you to use full potential of your PC. PowerArchiver has excellent support for ZIP format that includes full support for WinZip 11/12 ZIPX archives (only utility to fully support it), AES encryption, unlimited file size/number of files as well as unicode support. PowerArchiver also has extensive support for other formats, such as RAR (up to 30% faster extraction than competition), 7-zip (upcoming open source format which is fully supported), CAB, TAR, GZIP, BZ2, ISO and many others.
PowerArchiver 2010 supports all Windows operating systems, from Windows 98 to latest Vista and Windows 7, both 32bit and 64bit versions. It has excellent support for Windows 7 with unique features such as jumplists, taskbar progress bar and taskbar icon overlays.

CD/DVD/Blu-ray Burner/Virtual Drive
PowerArchiver 2010 Pro features dedicated burner application that let you burn any file to CD/DVD/Blu Ray disc. You can burn archives, ISO images and any files directly from PowerArchiver or via explorer shell extensions to a CD, DVD or Blu-ray disc. Once you're done, you can verify the burned files to make sure everything was burned correctly and without errors. In addition to burning files/archives/images, PowerArchiver 2010 Professional enables you to create ISO images, either by ripping the CD/DVD/BD with Disc Grabber, or directly with files from your hard disk. With PowerArchiver's Virtual Drive feature, you can also mount .ISO images into Windows so they appear like a normal drive that you can use. PowerArchiver burner can replace any standalone burner application for all of your data burning needs.
Built-in FTP Client
PowerArchiver 2010 Pro includes a built-in lightweight FTP client that you can use to upload/download files to/from FTP servers as well as other actions associated with standalone FTP clients.
