QuoteCAD DB Manager v2

This software is oriented not only for product dealers, contractors and systems integrators but also for companies that nees to build and distribute their own products.
With QuoteCAD™ DB Manager, users can import product information from suppliers and also create their own product information. This user-friendly software groups in just one window all the tools that are needed to create and edit product information. It uses 3 different user account types (administrator, limited and very limited) to let the users access the products database and also a system administrator account to manage the complete system.

The QuoteCAD™ DB Manager software uses one initial window that will be always active and in which the system administrator can manage all the system.

The system management includes:

1.Definition of QuoteCAD™ DB Manager’s Working Directory;
2.Creation and edition of Manufacturers;
3.Creation and edition of Database IDs;
4.Creation and edition of user accounts;
5.Import Manufacturers;
6.Management of prices:
7.Add or remove prices. Up to 4 different prices can be defined for each product. The minimum is 1 price;
8.Change the mapping names of each price;
9.Create and edit price’s formulas. These formulas are mathematical formulas that can be applied to each price in order to automate the products prices. QuoteCAD™ DB Manager uses an editor to let the user build these formulas;
10.Add or remove taxes to apply in each final quote.
11.Creation and edition of Quote Groups;
12.Creation and edition of Payment Terms;
13.Define custom texts that can be showed in specific fields in each final quote;
14.Specify a banner (company’s logo) that can be showed in each final quote;

For products management, QuoteCAD™ DB Manager uses one additional window in which are placed all the necessary tools to create and edit products.

The products management includes:

1.Creation and edition of product’s lines (only for administrators);
2.Organization of products by families in a tree form (only for administrators);
3.Creation of new products (for administrators and limited users);
4.Creation of new products by copy (for administrators and limited users);
5.Products edition:
6.Each product settings are grouped together in just one window and the user can open as many windows as he needs in one section;
7.The very limited users cannot edit the quote definitions (commercial description and prices) of the products neither create new associated groups or edit the existent associated groups;
8.Change the user name and its password;
9.Part management and assembling for Bill of Materials;

Unlike QuoteCAD™, the QuoteCAD™ DB Manager is a completely independent software that not needs an IntelliCAD based CAD software in order to work.
