SuperNova Screen Reader (formerly Hal)

Developed for blind computer users, SuperNova Screen Reader is a software screen reader that works by reading the screen interactively and communicating through a speech synthesiser or a refreshable Braille display.

NOTE: For Vista (all editions), you should have at least Service Pack 1 installed.
We recommend using the latest Dolphin software version that is available in your language. However; 32-bit editions of Windows Vista are supported from version 8 onwards, Windows 2000 is supported up to version 7.03

Other equivalent hardware combinations are expected to work successfully. This information is offered as a guideline when choosing suitable hardware for running SuperNova.

Note, using power saving schemes designed to maximise battery life will likely reduce your system performance for all applications including Dolphin software. For best results it is suggested to use a power scheme which maximises performance.
