Training Days:
While complete beginners are welcome on the course, it is advised that those attending have some experience in CAD to get the most out of the it. Those new to CAD are welcome to phone Paul Tracey on 01962 835 081 for advice.
We have some inexpensive guides to get the beginner started and ready for the day. Once familiar with the interface and a few commands the user will be in the best position to gain from the course. We recommend going through a few of the tutorials in the 2D v16 training guide, which includes easy to follow training videos before you come on the course.
Most of the courses are aimed at covering both the 2D and 3D aspects of the package, but we do book some for just the 2D aspects. There is time to look at drawings brought in from individuals to discuss best practice. Some courses have a narrower focus, such as 3D furniture making.
Numbers attending are limited to six. In this way we can tailor the course to fit the requirements of the group. We like to speak personally to each student before they attend to enable us to be fully prepared to deliver the most useful aspects of the package for the group. Courses start at 10am and go straight through to 6pm in the centre of Winchester. A light lunch is provided. Training Venue: Sheridan House, 40 – 43 Jewry Street, Winchester, SO23 8RY. Details of forthcoming training days are posted on the calendar on www.paulthecad.co.uk
