The Virtual Reading Ruler is a fully configurable on-screen reading ruler to use with any windows application, including emails and web pages.
Dyslexic people are particularly vulnerable to interruptions, due to processing problems and short-term memory deficit. Use of the Virtual Reading Ruler overcomes screen glare and allows the reader to keep their place on the document being viewed when interrupted by a phone call or a colleague. The Virtual Reading Ruler can be used with any document, including web pages.
An easily configured, mobile coloured overlay for all computer work, the VRR works just like an ordinary reading ruler, removing the glare and stabilising the print on any area of the page. At the same time it can mark the specific line or paragraph being read. It can be used with any application - including the internet - and moves with the mouse. Colour, size, shape and reading bar configurations can be tailored for the type of documents being viewed and the individual requirements of the user, and these settings are autosaved when the VRR is closed.
